Violation Description: Following a review of post-results data relating to reviews undertaken after the summer 2017 examination series, Ofqual identified increases of marks and grades that it considered to be inconsistent with fully compliant application of aspects of the reviews of marking and moderation conditions. Ofqual investigated this issue and concluded that AQA had not acted sufficiently to change reviewers' behaviours and practices. AQA recognises that it failed to secure full compliance with the conditions.
