Violation Description: On 23 January 2018 Ofqual accepted an undertaking from ETCAL concerning the assignment of total qualification time (TQT) and guided learning (GL) values to its qualifications. ETCAL has admitted that it failed to comply with condition E7.1, because it had not assigned a number of hours for TQT and GL to its qualifications before the deadline set by Ofqual, which was 31 December 2017. Ofqual decided to accept an undertaking, rather than taking formal enforcement action, because ETCAL's current management has owned the organisation only since 19 January 2018 and because ETCAL's new owners have committed to securing compliance before 31 March 2018.
