Violation Description: On 19 August 2021, the Care Inspectorate made an application to the Sheriff at Glasgow seeking cancellation of Rowandale Nursing Home's registration under section 65 of the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 ("the Act"). The application was based on the Care Inspectorate's belief that in the absence of an order, there would be a serious risk to the life, health or well-being of persons cared for by the service. As part of the application, the Care Inspectorate also sought an interim order, suspending the registration of the care service under section 65(3) of the Act. On 2 September 2021 an order was made by the Sheriff at Glasgow suspending the registration of the care service on an interim basis from 3 September 2021. The effect of this order was to suspend the care service's registration unless or until the court decided otherwise. On 25 February 2022, the Sheriff at Glasgow made an order under section 65 of the Act permanently cancelling the registration of Forth Care Limited in relation to the care service. The care service must no longer be provided by Forth Care Limited.
