Violation Description: On 28 June 2021, the Care Inspectorate made an application to the Sheriff at Ayr seeking cancellation of the care service's registration under section 65 of the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 ("the Act"). The application was based on the Care Inspectorate's belief that in the absence of an order, there would be a serious risk to the life, health or well-being of persons cared for by the service. On 22 April 2022, the Sheriff at Ayr made an order under section 65 of the Act permanently cancelling the registration of Nightingale House Ayrshire Limited in relation to the care service. The care service must no longer be provided by Nightingale House Ayrshire Limited.
