Violation Description: Ms C complained about the way in which the agency, who had arranged her parents' homecare, had calculated her parents' invoices. Furthermore, when Ms C raised this with the agency, it was reluctant to accept any fault. The Ombudsman has upheld Ms C's complaint. The care provider has agreed to provide an apology and reimburse Ms C's parents. It will also carry out an audit to determine if there are other clients who may have been overcharged.
