Violation Description: Miss X and Mr Y complained about the care Mr Y's wife, Mrs Y received at Bentley Care Home during a respite stay. The care home did not provide all the care required by Mrs Y's care plan. The care home's offer, in response to our enquiries, to apologise and refund £1,930 of Mrs Y's care fees is appropriate to remedy most of the injustice caused by this fault. It has also agreed to apologise specificially to Mrs Y for not giving her the encouragement to take part in activities she needed.
