The Care Provider was at fault when it gave Mr X notice without first exploring alternative options. This caused Mr X uncertainty about whether the move to a new care home was necessary. The Care Provider has agreed pay Mr X £300 and make service changes. There was no fault in the Care Home's visiting policy, or the length of time Mr X had to remain in self-isolation following a COVID-19 test.
